Get your members onto the app
Who does this: whoever sends club communications, once invitations have gone out and the season is set to Active.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Turn on Active for the season under Seasons. That is the season members see by default.
- If you have published required agreements (a code of conduct, for example), members will be asked to accept them on first open. Make sure they are ready.
What to send your club
Section titled “What to send your club”Copy, edit and send:
{Club name} is now on ClubEzy.
You should have an email from ClubEzy inviting you to join {season}. Tap Accept invitation in that email; it opens the app and signs you up in a minute.
Get the app:
- iPhone and iPad: https://apps.apple.com/au/app/clubezy/id1466713223
- Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.totallyezy.clubezy
- Or use it in any browser at https://member.clubezy.com
Once you are in, you will see your team, the schedule, team chat and club announcements. Please check your emergency contact details under Profile.
If your invitation has not arrived, check your junk folder, then let {contact name} know.
For parents of children under 16, add:
Children under 16 do not have their own login. Register your child through {registration link} and you will manage everything from your own account.
What members see
Section titled “What members see”- Accept invitation in the email opens the app if it is installed, otherwise the web app. Tapping the link accepts.
- New users create an account: first name, last name, email, password, and a tick for the privacy policy. Because they came from an invitation, there is no email verification step. Existing users just sign in.
- Choose a club lists their clubs and seasons. Members of one club go straight through.
- If you have required agreements, the Club agreements screen asks them to read and accept before continuing.
- Home: announcements, upcoming events, quick links to their team, chat and profile.
Members can also open the same link on a computer; everything works in a browser at member.clubezy.com.
Families
Section titled “Families”- Under 16: no login. A parent registers the child and acts for them in the app under Profile → Family.
- 16 and 17: may have their own login, but must be linked to a parent. If a 16 or 17 year old registers themselves and names a parent who is not on ClubEzy, the parent is invited to link.
- 18 and over: independent.
Keeping track
Section titled “Keeping track”- Members → Pending Invitations shows who has not accepted yet, with Resend.
- Members control their own notifications in the app under Settings → Notifications, per club: chat messages, events and announcements.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”- “This invitation is for a different email address.” They are signed in with another address. They should sign out and sign in (or sign up) with the address the invitation was sent to; the link picks up where it left off.
- “Invitation unavailable.” The link was already used, has expired after 30 days, or was cancelled. Resend from Pending Invitations.
- “Welcome to ClubEzy!” with no club listed. They created an account without using the invitation link. Resend the invitation; it will show under View Pending Invitations in the app.
- They cannot find the app on the App Store. The listing is on the Australian store. Use the link above rather than searching.
