Joining your club from an invitation
Who this is for: anyone whose club has invited them to ClubEzy: a player, a parent, a coach or a committee member.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Find the email from ClubEzy. Its subject is “You’re invited to join {season}” or “You’re invited to join {club} on Clubezy”. Check your junk folder if it is not in your inbox.
- Use the email address the invitation was sent to. Your invitation is matched on it.
- Open the email and tap Accept invitation.
- The link opens the ClubEzy app if you have it, or the web app in your browser if you don’t. You will briefly see “Accepting your invitation…”.
- If you are not signed in, ClubEzy asks you to. Choose Create account if you are new: enter your first name, last name, email, a password, and tick the privacy policy. Mobile, date of birth and address are optional here. Because you arrived from an invitation, there is no email verification step. If you already have an account, sign in instead.
- The invitation finishes on its own and shows “Welcome to {club}!”. Tap Continue.
- If your club has agreements to accept, such as a code of conduct, the Club agreements screen asks you to read them and tap I have read and agree.
- You are on Home.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”Your team, the schedule, team chat and club announcements are ready. Take two minutes to check your details under Profile, especially your emergency contact. If you want the app on your phone, see Getting the app.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”- “This invitation is for a different email address.” You are signed in with another address. Tap Sign out, then sign in or create an account with the address the invitation was sent to. The invitation picks up where it left off.
- “Invitation unavailable.” The link has already been used, has expired (they last 30 days), or was cancelled. Ask your club to send a new one.
- “Welcome to ClubEzy!” but no club is listed. You created an account without using the invitation link. Tap View Pending Invitations; if nothing is there, ask your club to resend it.
